Racism in Porn
The past few months have been absolutely shocking in porn. Between overdoses, suicides, forged STD tests, we really need to do what we can to avoid anymore backlash from the general public. THAT INCLUDES DROPPING THE N-WORD. You guys, we live in 2018, how, literally how, do we still see skin color as a defining attribute? How?! As an IR performer myself, I personally receive backlash and assumptions. My civilian friends will introduce me to someone and start off with, "I know you like black guys but you should meet...". I love humans. I love women, men, transgender, white, black, yellow, you name it and I will embrace them. We are all human-beings at the end of the day. I absolutely do NOT favorite one over the other, I favorite respect and kind manners.
The porn industry has made it to a point where interracial is a popular category! I remember growing up as a child listening to the older generations racial slurs and now being at a point where site such as Blacked.com or BlacksonBlondes.com are not only lucrative sites, but popular sites is absolutely amazing! My heart is when broken watching leaked videos where industry girls, girls who are around this everyday, are dropping the N-word and making hateful remarks towards African and Mexican Americans. I use that phrase for a reason, we are all Americans. Each and everyone of us is united and to see girls who will get gangbanged by 7 guys on the internet for a few thousand dollars is perfectly accepted yet doing a scene with a man who is of a different skin color is on their no list? Why?
Honestly, maybe this post is a little self-centered at the core. Why am I known as an IR performer? Why aren't I, "Sara St Clair, you're favorite hardcore Barbie!". I get told, "You HAVE to do IR because nobody will fuck you other than black guys.". My body is what I own and I allow whoever I choose to access my body. I could totally insert jokes about how black guys are always late, but know what? I've had just as many (if not more) white guys show up late for set. Men that I shoot IR with always show respect and are considerate of my pain tolerance, what makes me happy, etc.
Please, let me clarify, each performer can do WHATEVER they choose with their bodies! That's the biggest importance in this industry. We use our bodies how we want, when we want, with who we want. That being said, making a racist remark or choosing racist reasons to not perform with another performer should absolutely not be tolerated by anyone within our industry. Even on a fan level, I have seen remarks to the extent of "so-and so started doing interracial so I'm not watching her anymore". Grow. Up.
Point being, if you want to discriminate against a person due to their poor behavior, be my guest- I'll join! If you want to treat someone differently based on their skin color, stop. Just stop it all together and please refrain from following me.
